CCA is the most successful and longest running broadcast promotion in history. Founded in 1954, CCA was created as a local community Campaign to assist local broadcast properties to: 1) generate new advertiser revenue, 2) expand the station’s advertiser base, and 3) to provide documented community service to meet FCC public service requirements.

CCA extends community service to the entire community, not a single group or cause.

CCA provides to advertisers what no other media buy can provide —­ a notarized document sales result for a media buy. No network, broadcast group or other media buy can provide at any price what CCA provides exclusively — a documented sales result the advertiser can see, stack and count. Your media competition may deliver your advertisers a rating, CCA will deliver a documented sales result.

Some 10% of all commercial radio stations have licensed the CCA Campaign at one-time or another. However, the nature of the media –whether radio, TV, cable or newspaper — is immaterial to the conduct of the CCA Campaign.

CCA has no effect on the station’s on-air, or the advertiser’s commercials. Station format, and ratings are immaterial in CCA. CCA is only for those media properties that want to increase advertiser sales, want to expand the advertiser base, and want to engage in a community service that reaches every part of the community.

One station has conducted as many as 75 CCA Campaigns in a single market, one media licensee 59 CCA Campaigns.

CCA has been conducted for 122 years in the Pacific Northwest, 122 years combined in just Portland, Seattle and Spokane alone. CCA has run from Abilene to Zanesville, New York to Los Angeles, Toronto to Sydney. CCA has been conducted in Gettysburg, PA, population 7000 and New York City, NY, population 8.3 million.
